Tr\u00e8s attendu, le film retrace l\u2019ascension d\u2019un artiste hors norme, devenu une ic\u00f4ne mondiale\u2026 mais aussi souvent <strong>d\u00e9crit comme un \u00e9ternel enfant, en d\u00e9calage avec les codes du monde adulte.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une image qui n\u2019est pas sans rappeler <strong>Peter Pan<\/strong>, ce personnage qui refuse de grandir pour rester dans un univers sans contraintes ni responsabilit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Derri\u00e8re cette <strong>m\u00e9taphore culturelle<\/strong> se cache une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 bien concr\u00e8te en entreprise : celle de <strong>collaborateurs qui, consciemment ou non, peinent \u00e0 endosser pleinement leur r\u00f4le d\u2019adulte professionnel.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 style=\"color:#D10016\"><strong>Un concept populaire\u2026 mais utile pour les RH<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le <strong>\u00ab syndrome de Peter Pan \u00bb<\/strong> n\u2019est pas un diagnostic clinique reconnu. Pourtant, il constitue un <strong>prisme de lecture pertinent<\/strong> pour les professionnels RH, car il renvoie \u00e0 des comportements bien identifi\u00e9s :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>difficult\u00e9 \u00e0 prendre des d\u00e9cisions<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u00e9vitement des responsabilit\u00e9s<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>immaturit\u00e9 \u00e9motionnelle<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>besoin constant de validation<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Autrement dit, une <strong>difficult\u00e9 \u00e0 s\u2019inscrire pleinement dans un r\u00f4le professionnel autonome et responsable.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 style=\"color:#D10016\"><strong>Des comportements tr\u00e8s concrets en entreprise<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans les organisations, ces dynamiques prennent des <strong>formes tr\u00e8s op\u00e9rationnelles.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paul, chef de projet talentueux, brille en r\u00e9union. Mais d\u00e8s qu\u2019il faut trancher, il se d\u00e9fausse : <em>\u201cJe pr\u00e9f\u00e8re que tu confirmes, on ne sait jamais.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sophie souhaite \u00e9voluer\u2026 mais refuse le management : <em>\u201cJe ne veux pas g\u00e9rer les conflits.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thomas, lui, entretient une excellente ambiance mais \u00e9vite toute posture d\u2019autorit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Julie rejette syst\u00e9matiquement le feedback : <em>\u201cOui mais ce n\u2019est pas ma faute\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Karim procrastine sur les sujets cl\u00e9s, toujours avec de \u201cbonnes raisons\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emma, enfin, d\u00e9borde d\u2019id\u00e9es\u2026 mais rejette les r\u00e8gles : <em>\u201c\u00c7a tue la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces situations pr\u00eatent parfois \u00e0 sourire. Pourtant, elles traduisent un m\u00eame ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne : <strong>un d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibre entre d\u00e9sir de libert\u00e9 et capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 assumer la responsabilit\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 style=\"color:#D10016\"><strong>Un \u00e9clairage issu de la recherche en management et psychologie<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Au-del\u00e0 du terme \u201cPeter Pan\u201d, <strong>plusieurs travaux acad\u00e9miques<\/strong> permettent de mieux comprendre ces comportements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les recherches de <strong>Jeffrey Jensen Arnett<\/strong> sur l\u2019<em>\u201cemerging adulthood\u201d<\/em> montrent que l\u2019entr\u00e9e dans l\u2019\u00e2ge adulte est aujourd\u2019hui plus progressive, marqu\u00e9e par <strong>des phases d\u2019exploration et d\u2019instabilit\u00e9<\/strong>. Une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 qui peut se prolonger dans la vie professionnelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De leur c\u00f4t\u00e9, <strong>Edward Deci et Richard Ryan<\/strong>, \u00e0 travers la <strong>th\u00e9orie de l\u2019autod\u00e9termination<\/strong>, soulignent que <strong>l\u2019engagement repose sur trois besoins fondamentaux : autonomie, comp\u00e9tence et appartenance<\/strong>. Lorsqu\u2019ils ne sont pas satisfaits, des comportements d\u2019\u00e9vitement peuvent \u00e9merger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les travaux de <strong>Chris Argyris<\/strong> apportent un \u00e9clairage compl\u00e9mentaire : la <strong>maturit\u00e9 professionnelle <\/strong>\u2014 entendue comme le passage de la d\u00e9pendance \u00e0 l\u2019autonomie \u2014 d\u00e9pend aussi du contexte organisationnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enfin, <strong>les recherches de Daniel Goleman sur l\u2019intelligence \u00e9motionnelle<\/strong> montrent que la capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 <strong>g\u00e9rer ses \u00e9motions, accepter le feedback et r\u00e9guler ses r\u00e9actions<\/strong> est centrale dans la performance professionnelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Autrement dit : ce que l\u2019on appelle le <strong>\u201csyndrome de Peter Pan\u201d <\/strong>recouvre en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 des <strong>m\u00e9canismes bien document\u00e9s<\/strong> en psychologie du travail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 style=\"color:#D10016\"><strong>Un enjeu organisationnel (et pas seulement individuel)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces comportements ne sont pas neutres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ils cr\u00e9ent :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>une surcharge pour les \u00e9quipes<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>une d\u00e9pendance accrue au management<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>une baisse de la responsabilisation collective<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>une frustration manag\u00e9riale<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais surtout, ils posent une question plus profonde : <strong>l\u2019organisation favorise-t-elle r\u00e9ellement la maturit\u00e9 professionnelle ?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comme le souligne Chris Argyris, certaines entreprises maintiennent, parfois malgr\u00e9 elles, leurs collaborateurs dans une <strong>posture de d\u00e9pendance<\/strong> : sur-contr\u00f4le, manque de clart\u00e9, faible d\u00e9l\u00e9gation\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 style=\"color:#D10016\"><strong>Syndrome de Peter Pan&nbsp;: quel r\u00f4le pour les RH et les managers ?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019enjeu n\u2019est pas de stigmatiser, mais de <strong>cr\u00e9er les conditions de la responsabilisation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quelques leviers cl\u00e9s :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Clarifier les r\u00f4les et les attentes\u00a0: <\/strong>ca<strong>r <\/strong>l\u2019ambigu\u00eft\u00e9 nourrit l\u2019\u00e9vitement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Responsabiliser progressivement\u00a0:<\/strong> donner des marges de d\u00e9cision r\u00e9elles, mais s\u00e9curis\u00e9es.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>D\u00e9velopper la maturit\u00e9 \u00e9motionnelle\u00a0:<\/strong> former au feedback, \u00e0 la gestion des tensions, \u00e0 l\u2019assertivit\u00e9.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cr\u00e9er les conditions de l\u2019engagement\u00a0:<\/strong> autonomie, sentiment de comp\u00e9tence, reconnaissance (Edward Deci \/ Richard Ryan).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u00c9viter les cultures infantilisantes\u00a0:<\/strong> un exc\u00e8s de contr\u00f4le produit\u2026 de la d\u00e9pendance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 style=\"color:#D10016\"><strong>Vers une maturit\u00e9 professionnelle assum\u00e9e<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le <strong>\u201csyndrome de Peter Pan\u201d<\/strong> n\u2019est pas une maladie.
